Topeka resident Alexis Brianna Ward was killed in a car crash on Sunday in Pottawatomie County.
Sadly, 22-year-old Ward perished in a fatal Sunday morning car crash in St. Marys.
There was an accident at at 6:00 a.m. on Sunday on View Road in St. Marys when a car overcorrected, crossed the centerlines, and went off the road. Soon after, the car flipped over.
Ward, who had been thrown from the car, was found dead at the scene from blunt force trauma.
No conclusions have been drawn yet about what led to the crash.
